Very enjoyable park. The site we had was very huge and very easy to get into. The only reason I have lowered my score was due to the dogwood tree that was right in front of camper. I could not put my patio mat out or my awning. The kids enjoyed the park that is on the other side. It has a nice train, merry go round, zoo, petting zoo and water fountain that the kids played in.
Second time to this park and it is wonderful. All sites are level and nicely marked with border logs. Did not give a higher score due to the lake being down but still had a wonderful time swimming. We will back many more times.
Very nice park. It is now called Jellystone not Hidden Valley. For children this is a paradise. Huge pool with a water slide next to it. There are charges for using the slide but it was very nice. Also lots of activities could not keep up with them but there is a lot to do. As for the campground the site I had was a pull through not much front patio area and it was next to the road. If I am to go again I would choose a site on the pond or up the huge hill. Nice size patio areas for those spots. The only complaint I had was the main roads were not paved and a lot of dust every due to passing vehicles.
This is an okay campground for the weekend but not for much else. My site was a pull through and very tough to into. Had a huge tree that caused me much trouble to get into site. Unlike the other COE's I have been to there is no beach area for swimming and some sites have a huge hill that you have to be careful with little ones. Only one playground and dump station also.
Park was extremely well layed out. Most sites have waterfront and are very large. Parking pad is made of small gravel and fairly level. This place has a nice beach area for lake swimming.
